JAKE AND DINOS CHAPMAN: THE CHAPMAN BROTHERS
Jake Chapman (born 1966 in Cheltenham, United Kingdom) and Dinos Chapman (born 1962 in London, United Kingdom) are brothers and English conceptual artists; known as the Chapman Brothers (in English, Chapman brothers) work almost entirely between them. They became important as part of the Young British Artists movement, which was promoted by Charles Saatchi. His celebrity is largely based on the controversy, encouraged actions such as purchase an edition of "Disasters of War" by Francisco Goya and intervene her painting the figures of the Aragonese master clown noses. Death, sex, Nazism, children or the consumer society reflected in the well-known fast-food company, are some of the favorite themes of the Chapman, always taken from a bizarre view that defies all moral conventions and political correctness. In the mid-1990s their sculptures were included in the YBA showcase exhibitions Brilliant! and Sensation. In 2003, the two were nominated for the annual Turner Prize but lost out to Grayson Perry
